A Columbia County deputy had to use a lock-out kit to save a dog that had been locked in a hot car at a restaurant parking lot. A deputy was called to Cracker Barrel, 460 Park West Drive, about 12:30 p.m. Sunday for a complaint about a dog being left in a hot car.
