More than 7 pounds of methamphetamine was seized by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers during a traffic stop Saturday in Carson County. At 6:56 a.m., a trooper stopped a 2016 Jeep Patriot traveling east on Interstate 40 near Conway for an unspecified traffic violation. The trooper then discovered six bundles of meth inside of a dog food bag in the vehicle. The drugs have an estimated street value of $644,000, according to a DPS news release. read more
