The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two people were shot in the Edgewood Manor area of Northwest Jacksonville Wednesday evening. The Sheriff’s office said the shooting occurred in the 2300 block of Lantana Avenue, about a half mile from Raines High School. A public briefing by police is expected later Wednesday but not yet scheduled. Check back with Jacksonville.com throughout the evening for updates.
