Two locals join Tracy police force

TRACY — The Tracy Police Department introduced two Tracy High School graduates as the city’s newest police officers Friday afternoon.Tracy Police Larry Esquivel announced that Rob Hayer and Jake Pineo, each of whom graduated from Tracy High in 2009, had been hired as police officers. Hayer is the first permanent full-time officer in the history of Tracy Police Department to speak Punjabi and Hindi.
