Thursday's opening round at the U.S. Open was very frustrating for a number of golfers who had to deal with poor play and brutal weather. One golfer that had a great time: current Texas Longhorn Scottie Scheffler.Scheffler, an amateur and a graduate of Highland Park, was the leader in the clubhouse at the time of the tournament's third weather delay around 4:00 local time in Pennsylvania.
