A Barberton man was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to breaking into a neighbor’s house on Christmas and setting a fire that killed two dogs.Justin Garrett, 29, pleaded guilty in March to charges of aggravated arson, burglary, injuring animals and prohibitions concerning companion animals. In addition to the prison sentence, he will be required to register periodically as an arson offender for the rest of his life.According to prosecutors, Garrett lived next door to the house he set aflame.
