By Andrew Knittle Staff Writer aknittle@oklahoman.comMore than a year after a high-profile raid at his south Oklahoma City pain clinic, prosecutors charged unlicensed medical doctor Harvey Jenkins with Medicaid fraud and varies drug offenses Thursday morning in Oklahoma County District Court. Along with Jenkins, five former employees of Aria Orthopedics were charged Thursday with similar offenses. Mykel Fry, chief of the state attorney general's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, said Oklahoma City is a safer place now that Jenkins is no longer practicing medicine and referred to the Harvard-educated physician as “a drug dealer with a prescription pad.” “We went above and beyond, to try to shore up all of these charges,” Fry said.Read more on NewsOK.com
