The city of Savannah’s film office says movie production is shutting down Gaston Street in front of Forsyth Park until about 11 p.m. Monday. While Film Office staffers said they could not verify the name of the movie, “Baywatch” is being shot in town and a casting call for “jogging women with strollers” was put out for today in Savannah. The movie, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron, has been in production here for several weeks, with Johnson making rounds during filming at Memorial University Medical Center. Filming on Tybee Island is set to begin Wednesday.
