Ospreys soaring again in New Jersey

The acrobatic, sky-diving osprey, once down to a mere 50 or so pairs in New Jersey in the early 1970s, continues to make a dramatic rebound in the state, with close to 600 pairs here last summer, according to a new survey of the fish hawk’s population.
