Connecticut early childhood screening program grows nationally

NEW HAVEN >> Since the 1990s, pediatrics expert Paul Dworkin has been watching Connecticut's children grow. From what he calls "humble beginnings," a pilot program he launched in 2002 called Help Me Grow has grown in size and functionality along with them.In approximately 18 years, the program has evolved from a study in Hartford on children's growth through ages and stages to an early childhood initiative embedded in at least 25 state departments.
