After Sonny Grech's son died of an epileptic seizure in December 2006, he was seeking purpose. He joined the Rotary Club of Naples in 2007 and sat stone-faced through the meetings. During one meeting, a man made a presentation about Gift of Life International, a Rotarian nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in other countries receive treatment for heart disease.
