Police investigating BB gun shooting spree in Colorado Springs

Five locations near downtown Colorado Springs were hit late Monday by someone who was apparently using a BB gun, police said. Police said the shooting happened between 10:59 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on the 300 block of Uintah and 200 of North Institute streets and 300 block of South Hancock, 800 block of West Colorado and 1400 block of South Nevada avenues. Windows at each of the locations were damaged, police said. Police said the shooter was seen in a brown or tan Ford Fusion with tinted windows. In a report by Gazette news partner KKTV, two of the damaged buildings were 7-Eleven convenience stores on Uintah and South Hancock.
