Anthony Heald, a veteran of 10 Oregon Shakespeare Festival seasons and a two-time Tony-nominated Broadway actor (he also has two Obies), takes on the epic title role of “King Lear.” A good, strong Lear needs a good, strong cast to back him up, and it looks as if Dehnert is fielding an ensemble of great depth. Arwen Anderson and El Beh play Lear’s ungrateful daughters, Goneril and Regan, with Kjerstine Rose Anderson doubling as sweet Cordelia and the Fool.
