A resolution is on the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners' Thursday agenda to approve thousands of dollars in expenditures for preventing car theft.The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has received $5,000 in grant money from the Colorado Department of Public Safety for the purpose of paying overtime related to preventing and investigating car theft, according the resolution.
