By Nathan Olivarez-Giles Jawbone is rolling out software updates today that it says will answer the long list of criticisms that have dogged its most recent fitness-tracking bands, the Up3 and Up4, especially poor sensor performance.The company is also unveiling new colors and strap designs for its lower-priced Up bands.“We’ve addressed all the issues that people have said they want us to address,” Jim Godfrey, a Jawbone spokesman, told the Journal.Most of the complaints with Up3 and Up4 (which are the same device except for the Up4’s mobile-payment-enabling NFC chip) centered around the duo’s bioimpedance sensors.
