Comment on Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: President Carbon: Hypocrisy’s trip

AUG. 28, 2015 — Call it a textbook case of “Do as I say, not as I do.” During President Obama’s 11-day, 14,000-mile “climate change tour,” Air Force One alone will generate about 1.5 million pounds of atmospheric carbon dioxide, the greenhouse gas “pollutant” that he and his fellow environmental extremists love to demonize. Beginning in Las Vegas, the trip takes in New Orleans, for Hurricane Katrina’s 10th anniversary, and Alaska, where he’ll make what The Associated Press calls “the northernmost trek of any sitting president” — to Kotzebue, 33 miles above the Arctic Circle.
