Palm Coast proclamation heralds annual competition

PALM COAST - Registration is underway for the 2015 Palm Coast & the Flagler Beaches Senior Games scheduled for Sept. 12-19 and offering active people age 50 and older friendly competition in 14 sports.Most of the competitions in the local Senior Games serve as qualifiers for state and national competition.The official kick off included a recent proclamation from the Palm Coast City Council to Senior Games presenting sponsor Florida Hospital Flagler Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and the Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department, according to a media release from the city.Palm Coast Vice Mayor Bill McGuire read the proclamation, declaring Sept.
