Staff reports A chunk of earth and rock at the top of Yeager Airport's safety overrun area that fell last week fell another 50 feet Tuesday evening, according to an airport official.Yeager Airport spokesman Mike Plante said that as a result of the movement, some material reached Elk Two-Mile Creek at about 8:30 pm.The channel that workers had previously created months ago to divert water in case of flooding is still dry, and the water in the creek had not risen significantly as of about 9 p.m.
