With hours until the polls close, the Trump campaign is punishing reporters over critical stories either they or their outlets have written in recent days by blacklisting them from Trump’s election party, New York Magazine reports.
Steve Bannon told CBS News he is resurrecting the infamous Willard “war room” — where he was ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U. S. Capitol — for tonight’s election results.
Said Bannon: “Unlike in 2020, we will secure Trump’s victory this time.”
“Elon Musk plans to spend election night with former President Donald Trump, giving Mr. Trump direct access to the person controlling one of key information platforms on what could be a chaotic evening,” the New York Times reports.
“Mr. Musk plans to be at Mar-a-Lago for some of the evening festivities in Palm Beach, Fla.
“Several non-credible bomb threats that briefly disrupted voting at two Georgia polling places originated from Russia,” CNN reports.
Said Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger: “We’ve heard some threats that were of Russian origin. I don’t know how to describe that that’s viable – we don’t think they are, but in the interest of public safety, we always check that out, and we’ll just continue to be very responsible when we hear about stuff like that.
Rudy Giuliani showed “up to Trump’s polling station in the Mercedes convertible he was ordered to surrender to Georgia poll workers for defaming them,” the Financial Times reports.
