Three victims were transported to a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after being struck by lightning while working at an apartment construction site near Tutt Boulevard and Woodmen Road, said Colorado Springs Fire Department spokesman Capt. Steve Oswald. One of the three transported is in serious condition, Oswald said. Two others were injured and treated on site.
