Amarillo City Council will take on a variety of issues Tuesday, including two infrastructure projects: replacing aging water mains in older neighborhoods and repairing a damaged sewer line on South Georgia Street. Council members will consider awarding a contract for $600,000 to Roberts Ditching to install 6-inch water mains — largely in the Morningside and Plemons neighborhoods — to replace deteriorated mains, according to a bid analysis. read more
