LAWRENCE — A former Lawrence market owner convicted of second-degree murder for shooting a teenager in the back in 1998 has been paroled.The Eagle-Tribune reports that the state Parole Board unanimously approved the release of 50-year-old Elsido Pereyra on June 10.His release comes with the condition that he be deported to his native Dominican Republic.Pereyra fatally shot 17-year-old Ricardo Torres on May 3, 1998.
