Comment on Spaying, neutering pets emphasized on National No-Kill Day

On National No-Kill Day Thursday, Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society took a cue from Bob Barker and urged people to spay and neuter their pets. “I think we’ve got to have a lot of education around spaying and neutering,” Assistant Director Robin Cupell said. “We’re at the tail end of kitten season, and we’ve had so many of them up here that we just need to make sure people understand the benefits of and why they need to be spaying and neutering their pets.” read more
