DUQUESNE, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri city near Joplin that sustained damage from the 2011 deadly tornado will get $2 million for road repairs. On the anniversary of the tornado on Friday, Gov. Jay Nixon announced Duquesne (doo-KAYN') will get $2 million through a federal block grant. The city's roads were damaged by heavy trucks and other equipment hauling debris from the tornado damage. The EF-5 tornado that struck Joplin and surrounding cities killed 161 people.
