DreamWorks Acquires Jason Filardi And Walt Becker Xmas Pitch ‘Nick’

EXCLUSIVE: DreamWorks has bought Nick, a pitch for a Home Alone-style Christmas comedy that will be scripted by Jason Filardi and Walt Becker. Wild Hogs helmer Becker is attached to direct the film. He and Filardi will produce it together. They’re keeping the logline under wraps, but the clear hope is to launch a franchise. Filardi is best known for writing the comedies 17 Again and Bringing Down The House.
