Maine police chief charged with drunken driving pleads guilty

A Maine police chief is apologizing after pleading guilty to drunken driving charges. Paris Chief Michael Madden said after Tuesday’s court hearing that his behavior was “unprofessional” and “atrocious.” The Sun Journal reports that Madden reached a deal under which he was fined $500 and lost his driver’s license for five months.
