Man pleads guilty in CVS Pharmacy robbery in ABQ

One of two men charged with the January 2014 armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery. Kristopher Patterson, 27, entered the plea Thursday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Steven Yarbrough. Patterson was charged in an indictment along with Bayard Taylor III with taking “pre-retail” medical products during an armed robbery of the store on Central, though only Taylor was charged with carrying a firearm. The two were subsequently in a car accident at Copper and Truman. Patterson faces a potential 20-year sentence. According to the admission of facts in the plea agreement, Patterson and Taylor went into the CVS at 7015 Central NE to rob it of oxycodone and other controlled substances just before 4 p.m.
