Dark Souls II will now make its new-gen debut on April 2 in Europe. Originally, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin was due to release on April 6, which in the UK, falls on a bank holiday, Easter Monday. The new date, April 2, skips the bank holiday issue and allows the game to release on a Thursday, one day before the bank holiday period kicks in. What’s not clear the moment is whether the change will affect the North American release date.
