According to an unnamed source, Brent Means was fatally shot in Walmart by an Iuka Police officer during a hostage situation. Another officer, Joseph Marlar, was injured during the incident and airlifted to a hospital. The source said Means came into Walmart firing a weapon while being chased by police.
