Petrobras Shares Could 'More Than Double' by 2018: Barclays Analyst

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Petrobras looks like a risky bet, but one analyst believes the shares represent "a very interesting special situation where the shares could potentially more than double over the next three years." The Brazilian oil giant has seen its shares lose some 70% since the start of September due to a combination of a sharp fall in oil prices and a corruption scandal involving Brazilian politicians and Petrobras executives who have left the company since the allegations came to light.
