Ansley: $744,708 in transactions questioned Torrance County Manager Joy Ansley held on to her job Wednesday despite an effort by a county commissioner to have her fired. Torrance County Commissioner Julia DuCharme made a motion during the commission’s regular meeting Wednesday to fire Ansley. However, none of the other two commissioners would second the motion and it died. DuCharme’s motion came at the end of discussion on a special audit of Torrance County by the State Auditor.
