ATLANTA (AP) — Clark Atlanta University is using a federal grant to study the use of fossil fuels while offering education and research opportunities for minority students. Clark Atlanta associate professor of chemistry Conrad Ingram says the grant from the U.S. Department of Energy will help the university develop new chemical absorbent materials to capture greenhouse gas.
