Nintendo has today confirmed that Hyrule Warriors will launch with free downloadable content. The day one release will add a new mode, weapon and the "option to select music". Described as a mashup of Dynasty Warriors and The Legend of Zelda, the game will also be supported for “the long run” by Nintendo, with more content planned down the line. There's no information yet on the details - or pricing - of further additional content, but the first DLC pack will be launched when the game is released (that's September 19, 20 and 26 in Europe, Australia and North America respectively).
