MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A former Minot State University football player accused of attacking two police officers during a traffic stop has been convicted on five charges. A jury on Friday found Jesse Ili guilty on one misdemeanor charge of assault against an officer, but found him not guilty of a felony aggravated assault charge against another officer. Ili was also convicted of preventing arrest, fleeing and drug possession. Jurors deliberated for about two hours.
