As the cost to attend one of Iowa’s three public universities has risen over the years, so has the volume of student financial aid, according to a report to the Board of Regents made public Tuesday.In the 2012-13 school year, financial aid — in the form of grants, loans and campus employment — totaled $998.3 million at the three universities combined.
