Comment on Gobble Wobble fundraiserto help children, veterans

The Southwest Ambucs’ annual Gobble Wobble fundraiser is underway and expected to top last year’s efforts. “If someone buys a turkey for $100, a second turkey will be donated to a charity in their name,” said Brian Shinall of the Southwest Ambucs. Funds raised will go toward rehabilitation tricycles for handicapped children and wounded veterans around the Texas Panhandle, as well as scholarships for physical and speech therapy students at West Texas A&M University, Amarillo College and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, he said. read more
