College football: Michigan's Brady Hoke needs a win at Northwestern

He had been an assistant coach on Lloyd Carr's staffs, leaving as defensive coordinator for successful stints as head coach at Ball State and San Diego State. And when Hoke sneaked the Wolverines into the Sugar Bowl, which they won for an 11-2 season, euphoria swept Ann Arbor. But Michigan slipped to 8-5 last season, and now Michigan is 6-3 overall, with games remaining at Northwestern on Saturday, at Iowa and home against Ohio State.Read more on NewsOK.com
