Lancer, a 4-year-old Labrador retriever, is part of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's new team of sniffer dogs, which are combating the illegal wildlife trade at places like Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports. Lancer is trained to detect five scents, including elephant ivory and rhino horn.
