Comment on Man struck and killed by train in Revere

A man was struck and killed by an MBTA train this evening at the Oak Island Commuter Rail station in Revere, Transit police said.He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries, they added.Transit police, along with Revere Police, fire and EMS responded to the accident, which occurred at approximately 5:54 p.m.The inbound Newburyport/Rockport Commuter Rail Line was due to arrive in Boston at 6:15 p.m.The incident slowed the rush hour commute and outbound trains are passing through at limited speeds, Transit police said.
