Dead trees pose a danger in Hingham town forest, officials say

 A 9-acre section of the George Washington Town Forest is posing a growing concern for town officials. Trees have been killed by a microscopic insect known as red pine scale, which has been been spreading in the state. And in addition to the possibility of the trees falling, they also increase the risk of a fire in the forest.
