The federal government shutdown means a meeting about the Oregon spotted frog, a candidate for federal protection under the Endangered Species Act, set for today in Sunriver is canceled.The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service was going to lead the meeting this evening at the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic & Recreation Center, but the agency’s Bend office is closed because of the shutdown, said Pete Gutowsky.
