The 2024 election should be remembered as the election when political polls lost their relevance. The truth is, pollsters earned the public’s ire by pretending to deliver essential, objective political information while actually distorting data for their own purposes. It is more dramatic to generate political stories about the ebbing and flowing of hotly contested races.
