Police are asking for assistance in their search for a registered sex offender who assaulted a couple during a home invasion Saturday. According to a news release, Johnny Baker III, 38, entered a home about 2:30 a.m. in the Mars Trailer Park, on the 3600 block of Deans Bridge Road, and physically assaulted a man and sexually assaulted a woman.
