Comment on Police identify woman found dead in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, R.I. — Jamestown police say a woman found dead off the island's west shore has been identified as a Massachusetts resident who may have jumped off the Jamestown-Verrazzano Bridge.Police identified the woman on Tuesday as 34-year-old Barbora Persinova of the West Roxbury section of Boston. A Jamestown resident found her body in shallow water on Sunday morning, about one mile south of the Route 138 bridge.Police say the medical examiner's office determined Persinova died of injuries that were consistent with her having jumped off the bridge.
