The Tribeca Film Festival has tapped Martin Scorsese’s 1983 film “The King of Comedy” to close its 2013 edition, with the movie to be shown in a newly restored digital incarnation. The black comedy stars one of the fest’s co-founders, Robert De Niro, as an unhinged wannabe comic who kidnaps a popular late-night talk show host, played by Jerry Lewis, in an effort to score his big break.
