Last night, in part one of a two-part interview between Lance Armstrong and Oprah Winfrey (to resume tonight at 9 p.m. ET on the Oprah Winfrey Network), Armstrong admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs during his cycling career. By the time that Armstrong decided to sit down with Winfrey and admit to his drug usage, he had already resigned as chairman of the Livestrong Foundation, a foundation built to wage war against cancer and an entity that has inspired millions of people around the world to wear yellow bracelets and fight cancer.
