Storm causing slick roads, power outages

By Donita NaylorPROVIDENCE, R.I. -- A meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Taunton Wednesday evening urged drivers to use caution as the combination of snow and rain made for slippery conditions on area roads. Stephanie Dunten also warned that the morning commute could be a mess "as snow might transition to a nice glaze of ice in the overnight." In Providence, wind gusts made the snow, which started at around 3:30 pm., seem to come down horizontally. At 7:23 p.m.
