A24 and Regal Cinemas are teaming up for a special Halloween screenings event to usher in the spooky season. A24 presents 'An Eerie Series' exclusively at Regal Cinemas, with the event bringing several beloved horror hits back to the big screen throughout the month of October. A selection of A24 horror films will return to the big screen every Tuesday night, with the studio's frightening flicks being screened at a discounted price of $8.

Film director, screenwriter, and producer, Roland Emmerich, is working on a highly controversial remake as he plans to bring the multi-Oscar-winning Lawrence of Arabia back to screens. Known as "The master of disaster", Emmerich has directed several major blockbuster films, including 1996's smash hit, Independence Day, starring Will Smith, 2004's The Day After Tomorrow, and 2009's 2012.

A visually striking period drama from Woo Min-ho, “Harbin” follows Korean independence activist Ahn Jung-geun (Hyun Bin) as he plans the assassination of Japan’s Prime Minister in 1909, shortly after Korea’s annexation. The ploy involves numerous trains and several moving parts, resulting in a gripping last act that makes for a wonderful historical imagining.

The 69th, and possibly last, film of popular Tamil-language cinema actor Vijay before he enters politics full time, has set a producer, director and release date. The as-yet-untitled film will be directed by H. Vinoth, whose last three films “Nerkonda Paarvai” (2019), “Valimai” (2022), and “Thunivu” (2023) all starred Ajith Kumar.

In the culture-clash comedy “Meet the Barbarians,” actor-director Julie Delpy lays bare a number of Western hypocrisies. The film follows several townspeople in the struggling French commune of Paimpont, who vote to welcome a handful of Ukrainian refugees, but are caught by surprise when a Syrian family shows up instead.
