Missouri grand jury indicts Jacksonville company on forgery charges

A grand jury in Missouri has indicted a former subsidiary of Jacksonville’s Lender Processing Services on forgery charges. The Boone County grand jury accused DocX of 136 counts of forgery involved documents used to foreclose on homeowners. Lorraine Brown, DocX founder and former president, was also indicted on the same charges. Brown faces up to seven years on each count.
