From the Times-Union's Adam Causey: Supporters cheered on presidential hopeful Mitt Romney at a Jacksonville rally this morning, hours ahead of a nationally televised Republican debate at the University of North Florida. At least 300 showed up at the shuttered Paramout press building on St. Augustine Road. Romney said he chose the spot because it is a victim of the faltering economy President Barack Obama has created. Paramount head Jon Cummins said he let go of the press' 24 workers in December when company leadership saw business couldn't continue. read more
